Since the launch of Did You Remember The Milk in early 2007, we have received hundreds of letters from all across Australia sharing stories about home organising and Did You Remember The Milk? Seeing what a difference it has made to others’ lives has made all the hard work worth while. With your permission, we have published some of your letters here.

Four young children...

I'm a working mum with four young children so being highly organised is vital. 'Did you remember the milk?' has been my savior in managing our busy family, as the whiteboard just wasn't cutting it anymore! I especially love the “weekly menu planner” and the fact that all the information I need for the kids is in the one spot!"

A big thank you

I received my 'DYRTM' organiser today and I just wish to say a BIG THANKYOU! This is exactly what I have been looking for! I have 3 children in ages of a (nearly) 4, a two year old & a 7 1/2 month old. My husband works away a lot so I am the one who is responsible for the day to day running of the household & being a mum! This is going to make my life so much easier as I get caught up trying to invent a household system that works but in between nappy changes, feeding times, sleep deprivation etc time just gets away & it remains just a pile of "To do" lists and paperwork.

This folder is going to change my life, I am going to have more time to spend with the kids & my husband when he is home & thats really what its all about isn't it?

I also love the fact that the templates are available online & think that is just such a wonderful idea. It feels like the "backup service" after purchasing the product.

An excellent Xmas present

Dealing with the Too Hard Basket

Thanks for your inspirational book/organiser. I have only just begun to use it but can see its benefits already. I was just thinking the day before I saw it at the shops - "It would be great if someone came up with an idea to help organise all these things we store in our heads!" - then I found your book! All the important information at hand

Managed to get a copy today at Kikki K, Southland and I think it is fantastic. Still trying to get my head around the whole thing and am excited at the prospect of having all the important information I need at hand. The only thing I could not find was a list for favourite restaurants or restaurants I want to try. I thought it could go under the food section after the takeaway list or in the leisure section. There may already be something like this in the folder that I may have missed in my haste to read the whole thing.

Anyway, congratulations. I love to see mums put their creative juices to work and help themselves and others. I was pleased to see a recommendation for findababysitter.com.au as the owner, Delia Timms, is a close friend of mine who started the site after realising her's was not the only family who could be helped by such a source.

...your life changing book

Thank you so much for your life changing book. After I bought it took me a little while to find the time to sit down and use it properly – but now that I have my life is much simpler. No more searching for little pieces of paper to find contact details for the gas repair man that I used 3 years ago, or the house washing quotes that I did not follow up at the time!!!!!!!!!!!!!
